Like other injectable neuromodulators, the Jeuveau treatment is as quick and easy as it is effective. Certain wrinkles, known as “dynamic wrinkles,” are formed by the usage of your facial muscles over time. When you speak, eat, and make facial expressions, your facial muscles cause the development of wrinkles on the skin that sits just above them. This is where Jeuveau steps in.
By effectively “pausing” the muscles that are causing these dynamic wrinkles, Jeuveau can smooth over your facial appearance. Lines and wrinkles that have already developed will be smoothed out, and further wrinkles will be prevented from developing for a period of about three to seven months after your procedure. The entire experience takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
